Capital Campaign Prayer
There are many great things to come this school year and included in that list is the work that is being done on the leading edge of a major capital campaign that will provide improvements all across this campus, from the Church, to the ECC, and the school. Some of the proposed updates to the school include:
New cafeteria space
Addition of 3 more classroom spaces (to handle growing enrollment)
Transformation of locker rooms into meeting spaces and a staff bathroom
Elevator for the current 3 levels of building space being used
Enhanced main entrance security
As we kick off this initiative, we would like your students help in writing a prayer that will be voted on and used throughout the campaign. There is no requirements on length of content for the prayer, let the creative minds work.
Email all prayers to Mrs. Conlon at
by Friday, July 30th.

In the left menu, scroll down and click
Parents have the opportunity to change the language E-Registration is presented by clicking on the
option in the upper right portion of the screen.
The E-Registration process begins with the Demographics tab. The screen is presented with data that is currently on file in the center of the screen. Updates or new entries may be completed in the right column of the screen. Please ONLY enter updates/changes.
Parents will be taken through eight steps to complete the following updates:
Student Demographics (screen 1)
Student’s – address, phone numbers, etc.
Home Language Survey (screen 2)
Language information required by the state to be gathered from every student.
Health (screen 3)
Medications and health concerns
Contacts (screen 4)
Parental, guardian, and emergency contact addresses, phone number, etc.
Once all contacts have been entered, click on “Next E-Registration Tab” to move to the next screen
Contacts Sort (screen 5)
Priority order for contacts for who should be contacted first in the event of an emergency
Permissions (screen 6)
Parents grant or deny permission for their student school activities
Parents must click through and answer “yes” or “no” to each question for each student
Documents (screen 7)
There is nothing that you need to do on this screen, just click save/continue
Finish (screen 8)
After completing one student, parents have the opportunity to copy address and phone data to another student. This means while on the Demographics screen for one student, click on the other student’s name. Additional updates may be made after the copy is completed.
All steps (Demographics, Language, Health, Contacts, Contacts Sort, Permissions, Documents, Finish) must be completed for each student. The Contacts tab only needs to be reviewed and updated for one student because additional students can be linked to contacts in the “Relationship” portion of this screen. When the message, “E-Registration has been completed” appears, you may select another student and begin. Once done updating contact information, click the blue tab on the left hand side under the names to move to the next tab. Building and District Secretaries review every change request and provide final approval for updates into PowerSchool.
Thank you for participating in Electronic Registration! We appreciate your support!

Review Code of Conduct and Parent/Student Handbook
There are two very important documents attached to this section. The first is the new St. Matthew Code of Conduct; it is imperative that as a school community we are transparent about all of the roles and expectations of each and every member of our community, regardless of the role we play in each child's life. This document will communicate the expectations placed upon all who are a part of the Jaguar community. This will be signed this fall and kept on file.
The other document attached is the updated 2021-2022 parent/student handbook. I ask that you draw your attention to the discipline code, starting on page 15 as there have been some updates to this policy to ensure we have clear procedures in the event of a situation that needs our attention.
