NEW - Behavior Incident Report
In an effort to continue our work to partner with families on your child's educational experience, we will be implementing a new process called a Behavior Incident Report. This form allows us the opportunity to provide real-time, meaningful communication home when a situation arises that requires your attention. A few notes regarding the use of this form:
- This form creates a partnership between school and home.
- The use of this form allows us the ability to track meaningful data in regards to behaviors as we strive for solutions and appropriate plans for student success.
- This form will be used after the staff member has provided at least one warning to the student; unless, the severity of the situation requires immediate action.
- Should a pattern of behaviors be seen, a parent meeting will be scheduled to outline a plan for your child's success.
- Please sign and return the form to your child's teacher; a copy will be kept in the teachers file with a duplicated copy being sent to the main office for reference.

Christmas Week Dress Options
Your student(s) have been working very hard this year and I appreciate all they have done to help make St. Matthew such an amazing place. To reward them for their hard work and the amazing test results (we will share these school-wide in an email in early January), we will be having a Christmas celebration week with a fun activity planned for Friday morning as well. I am grateful for all they do and the work they put in. Thanks also to you for your partnership in this effort.
- Tuesday: Holiday Hat/Headband Day (in dress code)
- Wednesday: Christmas Shirt with dress code bottoms
- Thursday: See below JK = Pajama Day K = Polar Express Pajama Day 1 = Pajama Day (with stuffed animal) 2 = Grinch Day 3-5 = Pajama Day **Please remember that for all grades, casual dress rules apply. They will still be going out for recess and need appropriate clothing and shoes.
- Friday: Ugly Christmas Sweater Day with any bottoms (casual dress rules apply)
MCO Advent Calendar Options
Thank you all for your generous donations to help our Advent project; the MCO is going to be super excited about the amount of items collected for their families this holiday season. Katy from MCO will be on-site on Friday morning for the students to make the presentation of items to her.
